Faux Ceramic Tiles

All those tiles and plates look like ceramic but are made of paper.

I did the stamping on white paper, add some dimension to the tiles and glazed them - watch the video tutorial down below!

Vellum Cards - Tips and Advice

Hi and thanks for stopping by!

Today I'd like to focus on using vellum to create a front panel for your cards. Vellum is a beautiful material and it always adds a touch of softness and elegance to any paper crafting project but being so delicate and extremely susceptible to warping it's a bit tricky to work with.

In the video tutorial below I'll demonstrate a step by step process of creating this framed vellum card. I will also be giving some tips and advice on working with vellum. There are just a few things to keep in mind but they will really help to achieve a neat and professional look.

Thanks again for visiting and have a great day!

Using Small Dies for Backgrounds and Scenes

Hi and thanks for stopping by!

Today I'd like to share with you a couple of gift tags that I have created using Poppystamps dies. These cute stitched tags also work like mini cards because they both are attached to card bases so you can write a message inside.

I have used a bunch of Whittle Tags (love them!) to create a background as well as focal images on the first Halloween themed tag. For the other one I used Whittle dies to create a mini picture book scene.

As always, find some photos and a video tutorial below! Have a beautiful day!

2 Cards Featuring Bamboo Dies

Hi friends and welcome back!

I keep on publishing more inspirational projects to give you more ideas on how you can use the products from the new Paper Discovery release.

Today I am going to create two cards featuring 2 bamboo die sets. I'll be using bamboos as focal images, as a background and even to create a shape of a card! The bamboo shoot shapes are also great to create scenes when combined with other dies like water splash, ducks or a heron.

Find some close up pictures of the projects below and of course there's a video tutorial too!

Folding Screen with Room Divider Die Set

Hello crafty friends and thanks for stopping by!

From today on I'll be presenting projects made with Paper Discovery's new products from the latest oriental inspired collection. I will also be sharing tips and suggestions on how you can use the new products and how they coordinate with the previous products.

This project is made with the Room Divider die set only and it demonstrates the basic use of the product - that is making a folding screen. Of course, this set can be used for many more things like lanterns, cards and booklets which I'll be showing in the tutorials to come.

Watch the video down below for step by step instructions!
