THOUGHTFUL GIFTS - A Little Gift for a Cat Lover

I have recently become a happy black cat owner and this little gift is meant for a wonderful lady who gave me the cat :) There are some cans of cat food plus a toy mouse inside.

I have wrapped the box in a kraft paper (this is the kind of paper that I use for nearly all my gift wrapping!). Then I added some splatters, attached a red ribbon and a handmade tag on top.

The tag itself features Origami Cat die by Gummiapan. I have paired it with fractal embossed pattern and added a sentiment made with my very own alphabet stickers created with a sticker maker machine.

Watch the video tutorial where I explain all the tips and tricks!

Shadow Box Tutorial

Hello paper crafters!

Today's project is a really dimensional shadow box. It is meant to be a mantelpiece decoration and is not supposed to be mailed in an envelope so I had freedom to add as much bulk as I wanted :)

The project is created with Spellbinders dies from 3D Vignettes collection designed by Becca Feeken. I have added some decorative paper roses and rose buds to the arch and put one into bride's hands.

In a video tutorial down below I am demonstrating the entire process of creating this shadow box from beginning to end. Scroll down to watch!

Clear Summer Tag

Hello there and thank you for stopping by!

The project I have created today is a completely see-through summer themed tag. I have used some of my favorite techniques here including embossing the acetate. I remember when I first saw embossed acetate I was just astonished by how simple and genius this idea is. You just put it inside the folder exactly like a piece of paper and send it through the machine. The effect is simply stunning to me. I keep admiring it each time just like the first time!

Another technique that always makes a huge difference is layering die cuts. It's a great way to really make your project a 3D one. And it is ridiculously simple. Yes, it takes a little bit more time but totally worth it!

Below is a video tutorial with step by step instructions on how to put this tag together.

Thanks again for visiting and have a fabulous weekend!

Woodland Gnome - Masculine Card

Hi friends,

Today I am going to re-purpose Holiday stamps and dies to create a masculine card for a good friend that works for all seasons and occasions. After all, gnomes and evergreens don't just disappear after Christmas - they are here all year round :)

By the way, do YOU have a friend that this cute guy reminds you of?

I also have some good news to share.

If you purchase any Santa's Head or Pine Cone stamp by Gummiapan you can get a matching die (sold separately) for just£1! This offer is valid until July 13.
