Fall Shaker Tags

Hi, hope you are having a wonderful weekend.
Today I am celebrating my favorite season (fall!) with a set of three shaker tags. And of course, I've used some yellow and gold for this project. Some of the images are placed inside the tags while others (the branches) are attached on top of acetate window.
It might seem a bit complicated but once you have all the die cuts ready to go putting the tags together is pretty easy! Watch the step by step video guide below for detailed instructions!

Pop Art Holiday Card

Hi crafty friends,

Today's project is the one that has just been published in Simply Cards & Papercraft Magazine (issue 183).

SPECIAL OFFER FROM SWEDISH HOUSE CRAFTS!
20% off this issue at this link.

It is all about stretching your supplies to create original non-traditional Holiday projects. I have used Origami Penguins die set by Gummiapan together with non-Holiday embossing folder to make a Pop Art card with lots of geometric patterns and wild color and texture combinations.

Check out the magazine for more information and watch the beginning to end video tutorial below to learn exactly how this card was made!

WHITE CHRISTMAS 2018 - DAY 3 - See-Through Booklet Card

Welcome back to WHITE CHRISTMAS 2018 tutorial series!

The Day 3 project is going to be a standard A2 size card but with some unusual features. This card works as a booklet or mini album where you can add 2'' x 3'' pictures, journaling or greetings.

There is also a wide sparkling snowflake frame around the booklet part and that one is completely see-through. Although it's so intricate the card feels nice and sturdy in your hands because of multiple layers of thick cardstock.

Want to know how to make it step by step? Scroll down for some close up photos and beginning to end video instructions!

Take care and see you soon!

Dino Wall Hanging

Hi friends,

Today I have stepped away from Holiday cardmaking for a bit to create this wall hanging for a little boy's birthday. It is supposed to be hanged onto a large gift bag and then used as a decoration after a party is over.

I have used Old Stars die set by Gummiapan as a base - can you see those lovely tattered edges? The largest star has a little scene on it with the Origami T-Rex starring. I stuck down his image onto an old book page and cut it out. This way it could suggest that it IS made out of the old paper using origami technique.

As always, find a beginning to end video tutorial below! This project was quick to create and a lot of fun too!

WHITE CHRISTMAS 2018 - DAY 2 - Foldable Diorama Card

Hi and welcome back to the DAY 2 of WHITE CHRISTMAS 2018 series!

The card I'll be making is in fact a diorama / shadow box with a multi-layered winter scene inside. The reason it is called a card is that it can be easily folded, fitted into 6 x 6 inch envelope and mailed. It unfolds just as easily and can be used as a mantelpiece or tabletop decoration.

This is a totally different type of cards and a great way to surprise anyone in your mailing list! So let us see what it is and how it's done! Below are some close up pictures as well as the beginning to end video tutorial!

Have a great day and I hope to see you back soon for the day 3 project!

Blue and White Christmas

Good morning everyone!

Do you love blue and white color combo, probably with the touch of silver or gold? Have some blue and white china? Then what about going all blue and white this Christmas?

I have used three die sets from the latest collection by Sharyn Sowell called A Sweet Christmas to create a placement card plus a matching favor bag (it is in fact a chocolate bar holder) to be placed on each plate.

Mistletoe Gatefold die is meant to create see-through tabs on a card BUT it also makes lovely intricate placement cards. This strip at the bottom (see the picture below) is supposed to be adhered on a card but in this project we are going to use it to write the names of guests.

The chocolate bar holder is super easy to make - it is basically a sheet of 6 x 6 inch paper folded in half (of course you can use a different format depending on the size of a chocolate bar). I have attached blue and white ribbons and secured them by sticking a medallion on top. That one is created with Mistletoe Doily dies just as the circle frame on a placement card.

I have used this super cute sack image from From Our Home to Yours set to add inside the frame since it fitted in perfectly. Then I only had to add some sparkly snow and winter berries to finish off the project!

Both projects are very easy to create and are suitable for mass production. Watch the video tutorial down below or on YouTube for step by step guide on how to put this project  together!

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hoped you liked the blue and white idea. What colors are going for this year? I'd really LOVE to know!

WHITE CHRISTMAS 2018 BEGINS! - DAY 1 - Christmas Planner

The day that I have been so much looking forward to has come - it's the day when my 25 Days of Christmas tutorial series begins. This year the series is titled WHITE CHRISTMAS and that means that there will be lots of white cards and snow themed projects!

The project for DAY 1 is going to be a DIY Christmas Planner. It's no secret that Holidays take a lot of preparations and that also means a lot of lists to make - from naughty and nice lists to mailing lists, guest lists, Advent calendar gift ideas, menus, decorations to buy, cards to mail and so and so on.

You can use any notebook as a Christmas Planner of course but this one is a kind of gift edition :) The elongated format is perfectly suitable for all kinds of lists and look! - it has tabs too!

Want to know how to create this planner step by step? Then without further ado let's jump right to the video tutorial!

Hope you enjoyed the project! Don't forget to hit the little bell button on YouTube to be notified each time I upload a new video!

See you again soon!

Haunted House Tag

I love houses! House dies are my favorite ones - all of them, big and small, old and new. One of the things that makes them so fun to play with is they are totally adjustable for any season and occasion. Just by using different colors, textures, sentiments and additional little details you can make your project fit for Christmas, wedding or Halloween.

Today I have used Home Sweet Home die set to create a Ghostbusters inspired Halloween mini card. I have also attached a loop at the top so that you can hang it onto a gift bag.
This tag card is also a perfect size to place a gift card inside so it can become a gift itself.

You can find a video tutorial with step by step instructions down below. Have a wonderful weekend!

Tag Mini Album

I love tags. Yes, I do. There is something so charming and magnetic about this piece of paper dangling on a string. But there are more things that tags can do besides dangling. Today I am going to use a tag die 2 3/4'' x 4 1/2'' to create a scrapbook.

This little album is really easy to put together and its structure allows you to add pictures (it can hold up to 10 of them!) as well as some bulky embellishments inside (paper flowers, chipboards, brads, stickers etc.)

Watch the step by step video tutorial below for step by step instructions!
Thanks for visiting and have a fabulous week!
