WHITE CHRISTMAS 2018 - DAY 22 - Hamsa Shaker Card

Now to the project! I have used the fabulous Decorative Hamsa die to create a jewelry-like card. When die cut out of foiled metallic cardstock this image looks as if it is made from polished wire. Then I only had to add some jewels, pearls and glitter to complete the look!

    1. I also had to google it :) Although I've seen it many times (people often bring them as souvenirs from Israel) I didn't know exactly what they were. It is an amulet meant to protect you.

  41. Olga, I always enjoy your jewelry themed cards such as this. Your use of the silver with the pink in the shaker element and embellishments is a great combination. Your tip for getting an even edge cutting the craft foam is so helpful. Thanks for sharing.

  51. I like how you went pretty traditional with the "metal" outline (very much like a hamsa my friend gave me), then turned it around with the bright pinks. And your embellishments are the perfect accent. What a great way to end this hop; thanks for sharing!
