Traveler's Notebook Layout - Can't Wait to Pack my Bags

I was just in the right mood for this type of layout today!

Sorry, no video this time. I was actually planning to keep my traveler's notebook just for myself but then when the layout was finished I decided to share it anyway. That's the power of blogging habit!

So this is how I created it:

1. I stuck a strip of wide 4'' washi tape to the left side of the spread;

2. I die cut my phrase out of white paper using Spellbinders alphabet dies (see the supply list below). This one is my absolute favorite by the way!

3. I have actually drawn my own backpack and a traveling bag on the right side of the spread (black ink outline and colored pencil coloring).

4. I have attached a few more strips of washi right on top of the drawings.

5. Using a sharp craft knife I cut around the outline of bags. I tried to be really light-handed to cut through washi tape but not completely through the paper underneath.

6. I peeled off all washi tape pieces that were overlapping the bag images.

7. I stamped a few phrases from the Simon's sentiment stamp set with brown ink and then attached a smiley sticker to the backpack. That's it!

I will probably be adding more travel layouts to my Instagram account soon so if you like this kind of creativity be sure to follow me on Istagram: @olgadirektorenko

Have a beautiful day!

Draw your own Distress Ink Organizers with 3D pen and 3Dmate!

Hi, hope you are having a fabulous weekend!

The beginning of a new year is a perfect time to try something new so today's project is going to be a bit different. It's definitely time to get organized for me since my desk is a total mess. Therefore I am going to use some cool new tools to draw my own 3D custom organizers for distress inks and stains!

See Through Lattice Card

Hi, I'm so happy to see you back here in 2019!

Today's project is an all-occasion card that has a wide see-through ornamental border decorated with pearls.

To create this project I was using a couple of dies from Diecember 2018 release by Simon Says Stamp.

I kept the color palette extremely simple (almost no color at all!) but added quite a bit of texture - watch the video below for step by step instructions!

2019 Banners

Hi there! I hope you have had a great Christmas and everyone is ready to welcome the New Year 2019! I

I have made a little home decor piece to celebrate the event. These banners are really easy to create - it's the die design and the way we put the elements together that makes this project unique.

Watch the video below for step by step instructions.

Have a wonderful, bright, happy and prosperous year 2019!

Hi friends! Thank you for sticking with me through my WHITE CHRISTMAS 2018 series. I have greatly enjoy creating all these tutorials! Today is the time for the last 25th project. It is going to be a fun pop-up card featuring a desktop scene with some letters to Santa.

I kept the outside of the card super simple because all the fun is happening inside the card. I have also combined the products of different producers. Most of them are not even seasonal.

WHITE CHRISTMAS 2018 - DAY 24 - Merry and Bright Gift Tags

Welcome back to my WHITE CHRISTMAS 2018 tutorial series! This project is #24. I can't believe how close Christmas is now!

As the gift wrapping day approaches I am trying to create as many tags as possible (you can never have enough!) to make even last minute gifts look as if you were thinking of them well in advance. How are your Christmas preparations going on?

As these tags are rather large (5.5 inches long) they will do great for bigger gift bags and boxes. I used traditional Christmas colors to make them fit kraft wrapping paper that I am planning to use.

Below are some close up pictures and a VIDEO TUTORIAL!

Thank you so much for visiting today! Join me in a couple of days for the last project of the series!
