I have made this not quite typical holiday card for an antique car fan.
The process is simple:
1. Stamp the image with archival ink and then bleach it.
2. Mask off the image.
3. Create a background with some stenciling and stamping with Distress Inks.
4. Take off the mask.
5. Add embellishments.

ReplyDeleteI really like how this card turned out! I think it's a great non-traditional concept that still manages to convey just the right festive feeling! It was a refreshing change to see this fabulous old car instead of Santa's sleigh. I love the touch of whimsy that the stars add and you've done a fantastic job of creating the background scene with all of those well-chosen stencils. I appreciated how you made this card for an antique car fan-- cards always mean so much more when they're personalized! Thank you for the wonderful inspiration and for sharing your holiday flair with us here at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog!
