Fishbowl Card

Happy Saturday everyone, hope you are doing great!

I used to have goldfish when I was at junior school and I'm still loving their elegance and grace. So today's card is going to be goldfish themed.

I've used a bunch of very simple basic mixed media techniques to create various textures on a card. Watch the video down below and I'll show you the whole process step by step!

Take care and have a great weekend!

Last Minute Easter Card

Today I would like to share a last minute Easter card that I have created using a printed image from the packaging. Although using commercial printed images is not quite what is called "my style" :) I loved it so much I couldn't get my eyes from it.

So I simply created a frame by embossing a piece of glossy cardstock, added a sentiment and also decorated the inside of the card - watch the video below for step by step instructions!

Thank you so much for visiting today! Have a lovely week!

Traveler's Notebook Layout - Healthy Eating

Do you know that feeling when you like the picture from the packaging (or in a magazine) so much you just cannot let it go from your hands? That was the case with this picture of carrots from the packaging of glass containers that I bought for my fridge.

I cut out the images and used them for this Traveler's Notebook layout as well as for an Easter Card (coming soon!).

The process was easy:
  1. I used a wide grid pattern washi tape to cover up a part of the paper surface and then I used a black pen and a ruler to continue this pattern right up to the right edge of the layout.
  2. I backed up the largest carrot image with a black and white paper and attached a die cut sentiment onto it, then stuck it down.
  3. I die cut the "healthy eating" words using an alphabet die set and attached those.
  4. I added more carrot images here and there.
  5. I used small carrot dies (sorry, they turned out to be discontinued!) and attached those as embellishments all over my layout.

I need this kind of motivational creativity to help me adopt a healthier lifestyle. And I hope I'll make Easter Bunny happy too!

Thanks for visiting today! Below are some pictures and a supply list. Have a lovely week!

Layered Lattice Card

Hi crafty friends!

I am happy to announce that all PAPER DISCOVERY products are now back in stock!
I have created this intricate layered card to give you more inspiration on how to use the products.

Notice that all die sets are available separately as well as in bundles (=discounts!). For instance, all the products I used here are a part of one bundle - see the supply list below!

Here are some close up pictures as well as a beginning to end VIDEO tutorial! This card is really not that difficult to make as it might seem!

Thank you so much for stopping by today! Have a wonderful spring day!

Easter Egg Planter

This pineapple shaped DIY planter is made out of an egg shell. You will only need the supplies that you already have around your house. No specific craft supplies needed except a little bit of acrylic paint! This is exactly why you will not find a list of supplies this time.

It's a super fun activity to do with children and it would also make a cute little gift for Easter or for a summer party!

Scroll down for some close ups and a VIDEO tutorial!

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a wonderful Sunday!

Washi Tape in Card Making

Hi paper crafting friends,

Today I would like to suggest you a super fun WASHI TAPE technique to try. This super simple technique will allow you to create a "torn" background.

Notice there is no washi tape overlapping a stamped frame and there's also an even thin border all around the card - I'll show you how to do all that in a VIDEO TUTORIAL down below!

Watch the video and have a great week!
