Washi Tape Shaker Window

Hi crafty people, hope you are having great fall!

Today's project is actually a technique experiment. I am going to add some color and pattern to a clear shaker window using washi tapes. Washi tape is a very unique material - it's a really thin paper that is semi-transparent (especially the light colored one). So adding it to acetate will result in creating patterned areas that you can still see the sequins through.

WHITE CHRISTMAS 2018 - DAY 7 - Silent Night 3D Card

Hi there and welcome to the DAY 7 of WHITE CHRISTMAS tutorial series!

Today I am going to make just another 3D card. They are so addicting! I really like combining 3D card bases by Becca Feeken with Memory Box layering dies. Those dies are fun to use on their own, but the moment you see flat die cuts turning into a 3D scene is so satisfying!

Walking with the Dog

Hi there! Today is a big day for me because I have finally overcome my fear of mixed media and created my first ever scrapbook layout. Although I have to mention that I could only overcome this fear by avoiding using any messy techniques like painting, spraying and even stenciling and stamping. 

All I did is I prepared some die cuts and then played with them moving and shuffling them all around the sheet of A4 size plain card. Only when I was happy with their placement I stuck them down. That's it! This technique is so extremely forgiving! You can change your mind at any moment without ruining what you have already created.

WHITE CHRISTMAS 2018 - DAY 5 - Snowflake Frame Tags

Welcome back to the WHITE CHRISTMAS 2018 tutorial series!

The project for DAY 5 is a set of three gift tags. Each of them has gorgeous see-through snowflake shaped frame and a little winter wonderland scene inside.

The shape of the tags is created with one of the layering sets by Birch Press Design and the scenes are made with Memory Box small dies.

Welcome back to WHITE CHRISTMAS tutorial series! 

The project for DAY 4 is a clean and simple card with a pop-up element inside! This castle of ice and snow - both inside and outside - is created with just one die set by Karen Burniston. 

Pop-up element inside the card is a great way to add something exciting to your project without taking anything off a clean and simple design.
