Swirl Frame Cards

Hello friends, today I am showcasing two cards created with Swirl Frame die by Spellbinders (see the supply list below) - it works great for both portrait and landscape oriented cards. This die measures 4,25'' x 5,5'' which means the cards can be mailed in standard envelopes.

Watch the video tutorial down below for step by step instructions on how to make them.

Milk Carton Mini Boxes

Hi and thank you for joining me! Today I have a fun and easy project to share - it's a set of three mini gift boxes that would be great for Easter as well as for any spring or summer occasion.

The box shape as well as all the decorations are created with dies (see the supply list below). To keep the box closed I have used paper clips decorated with die cuts.

You can find all the instruction on how to make these boxes in a video tutorial below!

THOUGHTFUL GIFTS - Carrot Pen Holder Candy Boxes

You have probably noticed that I simply love all kind of cute little boxes - they are so much fun to make! I also like the idea of giving something that lasts a bit longer than chocolate. These Easter treat boxes hold carrot shaped gel pens plus some added treats - I think a little gift like that can make both a child and an adult happy!

 SALE ALERT:
The die I used for creating those boxes - What's the Point by Spellbinders - is now on sale! It's regular price was $59.99 but now you can get it at $17.99 and save $42! The product is discontinued and after the dies are sold out they will be gone.

Bamboo Grove

Today's card is rather clean and simple but at the same time it's elegant and sophisticated. This is one of "entirely die cut" type of cards with no stamping, inking or much of other techniques.

I went with neutrals here using a Latte Notecard by Birch Press Design plus some cream cardstock, brown paper and vellum.

As always, you can find step by step instructions on how to create this card in a video tutorial down below.

Daffodil Wreath

Hi crafty friends, in today's tutorial I will demonstrate how to create a shaker element with an intricate die that doesn't have enough space to place some foam tape behind it. That super simple technique will allow you to make shakers with pretty much any open die.

I have used some dies by Swedish producers for this project (see supply list below). I like that the Old Paper set can be used to create old wood boards, not only tattered paper. And of course, I absolutely love daffodil dies!

Please scroll down for some close ups and a video tutorial!

In the Woods - with Justine Hovey - GIVEAWAY! (now closed)

Hi there friends, today I am collaborating with amazing Justine Hovey. We both are creating a multi-layered card - each in our own way.

GIVEAWAY

Both Justine and I are having giveaways on YouTube so I encourage you to watch the video below, comment for a chance to win (on YouTube!) and then head over to Justine's video and check out her giveaway.

I am giving away Tender Tulip die by Poppystamps plus some little extras.
Please note that blog post comments won't count for the giveaway.

So this is a multi-layered card that I have created. Looks super complicated, doesn't it? But just watch the video and see how easy it is to put together! I have created a diorama template with Spellbinders 3D card die set and combined it with layering woodland dies by Memory Box (see supply list below).

One more really cool feature of this card is that it folds down and fits into 6''x6'' envelope!

Thanks for joining me today and good luck with the giveaway!

Filigree Egg

Hi crafters, today I am sharing an Easter card that doubles up as "congrats on your pregnancy" card.

I have featured some of the fantastic Stackable Dies by Birch Press Design here. Each of those dies can be used on its own but when they are layered they create wonderful dimensional effect.

Other than dies, my choice of materials was very simple - just some thick vellum, watercolor paper plus some embellishments.

Check out the video tutorial below for more information on how to create this card:

MY BULLET JOURNAL / WEEKLY PLANNER 2018 - March Weekly Spreads

I keep sharing weekly spreads that I create for my little monthly planner and now it's the time for the month of March.

As I am using it to schedule my blog posts I don't really need a lot of space for everyday notes. Instead, I can concentrate on decorating the pages.

This month a lot of pages seem to be sushi themed - it's my daughter's birthday month and sushi is her favorite food :)

This time there are 5 layouts so scroll down for the pictures and a video tutorial:
